We have arranged an after school rounders club on Thursdays after Easter, to be run by OAFC staff; but currently have only two interested children. We are therefore opening it up to all Key Stage Two classes. If you would like your child to be involved, please contact Mrs. Hodkinson in reception. The cost- for the full half term- is £5 (£2.50 for those in receipt of free school meals)
Student of the week: Jack Brierley for his super writing
Good work: Codie & Maddison for balance work in PE
Well done to all of you
Student of the week – Robyn Johnson for super effort with reading and spelling
Good work – Fraser Enzanio for super maths work
A big well done to both of you!
This half term Year 6 are doing gymnastics and have been learning new types of balances. House points to those of you who can tell me what balances are being performed in these pictures.
Year 6 enjoyed science with cabbage, they tested acids and alkalis, made a fire extinguisher and made their own slime!!
As promised, we have rescheduled “World Book Day” for Thursday 8th March. We look forward to welcoming Circus Sensible into school and seeing your magic hats.
