World Cup winners: Brazil

World Cup winners: Brazil

Brazil won our final today, 2-0 v England. Congratulations to the winning team, and also to the runners-up, who played well. The best match of the tournament: the 2-2 draw today in the third place play off between Spain and Argentina. Hence they share third place.

I have been delighted by the children’s sporting behaviour, and shall therefore make this an annual summer tournament.

Today’s results from our internal World Cup: England 2 Spain 0; Brazil 3 Argentina 0.

I have told the children how greatly impressed I was with the children’s attitudes and sportsmanship. I have therefore pledged for each of their classes an extra playtime as a reward for their conduct.

The next round of fixtures will be on Friday: England v Argentina, Spain v Brazil
