Brazil won our final today, 2-0 v England. Congratulations to the winning team, and also to the runners-up, who played well. The best match of the tournament: the 2-2 draw today in the third place play off between Spain and Argentina. Hence they share third place.
I have been delighted by the children’s sporting behaviour, and shall therefore make this an annual summer tournament.
Students of the week are Marcus for joining in class discussions and having a much improved attitude to learning and Musa for operating the computer during year 6 play practice.
Maisie and Hannah are in good work for their excellent attitude and work in P.E.
In our World Cup this afternoon, the scores were: England 1 Argentina 0, Spain 0 Brazil 3.
We have decided, therefore, that next Wednesday we shall have our third place play off between Spain and Argentina, followed by the final between England and Brazil.
