Just for the record… City are near the top and Liverpool are currently bottom of the women’s table.
In science year 6 have started to learn about electricity. Yesterday they looked at electrical symbols and then had some time to create their own circuits.
Student of the week is Olivia for great progress and super effort.
Miles and Gracie are in good work for great work experimenting with electrical circuits.
Harley, in Year Three, sometimes goes into Manchester with his mum to give food and drinks to homeless people there.
As the cold weather is now here, the homeless desperately need warm clothing, and Harley has asked if we can give him hats, scarves and second hand coats for him to take with his mother to distribute among the homeless.
Please can any Hey with Zion families who would like to give hats, scarves or coats for Harley to distribute, hand them to their child’s class teacher for them to pass to Mrs. Soanes (Harley’s teacher).
Student of the week – George for his wonderful creative writing
Good work – all the children who went to Robinwood; you were all wonderful, your behaviour was exemplary and the staff were very complimentary about your manners and enthusiasm.
Well done to all!
Today after breakfast we had our final activities. We hope the children have had a fabulous weekend and would like to say well done to each and every one of them for their behaviour, manners and achievements throughout their stay at Robinwood.
I hope you all enjoyed Robinwood this weekend and are not feeling too tired. You have been fabulous and we are very proud of you all.
Luckily we all got out in one piece!
